Seeking a Friend is a promotional experience for the film O Horizon. Here's the deal, plainly:

• No accounts. One anonymous session cookie so the shop remembers your conversations. No third-party tracking.
• What you type (conversations with Sam, friend descriptions, friend chats) is stored so the experience works, and may be reviewed by the people who run the site for safety reasons.
• Friend pages are public — anyone with the link can see the poster and talk to the friend (their chats are their own).
• If you choose to share a conversation, that transcript becomes publicly visible to anyone with the link. You can unshare it.
• We keep a salted hash of your IP and browser signature for abuse prevention only, plus your country code.
• If you opt in to location for showtimes, it's used for that lookup and not stored.
• Want everything gone? Forget me deletes your session, your friends, and your conversations.
